White All Black Wallpaper
Black and white sharing one frame — backlit keyboards, New York in monochrome, B&W anime plates, desert horizons. Contrast as the whole point. Free downloads; sign in to post.
Put white against true black and both get stronger — that is the entire logic of this gallery. The picks run from photography (a monochrome New York, a desert landscape split by sky) to backlit keyboard close-ups and black-and-white anime plates, all trading colour for contrast. They suit screens that feel cluttered in colour: text stays readable, icons stay visible, and the wallpaper never argues with either. Wide frames outnumber tall roughly three to one. Long-press on mobile or right-click on desktop to save, then set it from your wallpaper settings. Free for personal use.
Common questions
Do black wallpapers actually save battery?
On OLED and AMOLED screens, yes. A true-black (#000000) pixel is switched off rather than dimmed, so it draws no power — and with an always-on display that runs all day the difference is measurable. On an LCD screen it saves nothing, because the backlight stays on either way. Not sure which you have? Our OLED test tool fills the screen with pure black: on an OLED it goes completely dark, on an LCD you can still see the backlight glowing grey.
