Why laptop preview matters

The MacBook Pro notch and 16:10 aspect ratio changes how a wallpaper looks compared to a standard 16:9 monitor. Subjects placed near the top center can get partly hidden by the notch. This preview shows the actual bezel + notch layout for the 2021+ MacBook Pro and MacBook Air (M2/M3/M4), plus common Windows laptops so you can pick wallpapers that fit properly.

Pro tips

Avoid placing important subjects in the top-center 20% for notched MacBooks.
For 16:10 laptop displays (MacBook, Surface), use 16:10 native resolution rather than cropping 16:9.
