Why resize wallpapers before setting?

Modern phones use non-standard aspect ratios — the iPhone 15 Pro uses 9:19.5 while Samsung uses 9:20. If you set a 16:9 image, your phone will crop, zoom, and shift the image, often cutting off important details near the edges. Pre-resizing to your device's exact resolution means the wallpaper appears exactly as you designed it, with no automatic cropping.

Crop vs. Contain vs. Stretch — which mode?

Crop to fit (recommended) — fills the whole screen but may crop edges. Best for photos with clear subjects in the center.
Contain — fits the entire image with black bars. Best for wallpapers with text or subjects that must not be cropped.
Stretch — distorts the image to fit exactly. Use only for solid colors or patterns that stretch well.

Is my image safe? Do you upload it?

What image formats are supported?
