Display Full Black Wallpaper
Full-black for the whole display — edge-to-edge fills, a leather-texture dark, the files people set to test panels and keep for the look. Free downloads; sign in to post.
Filling a display completely with black is both a look and a diagnostic — it exposes backlight bleed on LCD and disappears entirely on OLED, which is why panel owners keep these files around. The shelf stocks edge-to-edge fills plus a few textured near-blacks (leather grain, soft fabric) for people who want full coverage with a hint of surface. Tall and wide both present. Long-press on a phone or right-click on a desktop, save, then set it from your settings. Free for personal use.
Common questions
Do black wallpapers actually save battery?
On OLED and AMOLED screens, yes. A true-black (#000000) pixel is switched off rather than dimmed, so it draws no power — and with an always-on display that runs all day the difference is measurable. On an LCD screen it saves nothing, because the backlight stays on either way. Not sure which you have? Our OLED test tool fills the screen with pure black: on an OLED it goes completely dark, on an LCD you can still see the backlight glowing grey.
