Dark Deep Black Wallpaper
Depth as the feature — LG-era monochrome stock, deep-space darks, gradient blacks with luxury weight, noir woodland pieces. Free to download; sign in to contribute.
Deep is the quality that separates a black wallpaper you notice from one you feel: gradients that fall away instead of sitting flat, noir woodland with genuine distance in it, deep-space pieces where the dark has layers. The LG-era stock cut is a small classic of the form. Tall and wide frames split evenly. Long-press on mobile or right-click on desktop to save the full file, then set it from your wallpaper settings. Free for personal use throughout.
Common questions
Do black wallpapers actually save battery?
On OLED and AMOLED screens, yes. A true-black (#000000) pixel is switched off rather than dimmed, so it draws no power — and with an always-on display that runs all day the difference is measurable. On an LCD screen it saves nothing, because the backlight stays on either way. Not sure which you have? Our OLED test tool fills the screen with pure black: on an OLED it goes completely dark, on an LCD you can still see the backlight glowing grey.
