Black Anime Wallpaper 1440P
Dark anime for sharper monitors — Ichigo behind the hollow mask, Black Rock Shooter, Asta and Kenpachi frames, almost entirely wide cuts that hold up past Full HD. Free downloads.
A 1440p monitor is exactly where anime wallpapers either shine or embarrass themselves, and this gallery keeps the ones that shine. The frames are nearly all landscape and carry enough resolution to stay crisp on a 27-inch panel — poster-grade character art, AMOLED-dark Bleach pieces, the occasional full-scene render. Almost nothing here is tall, so phone users should try the main black anime gallery instead; this shelf belongs to desks. Right-click the image, Save image as, then set it as your desktop background. Free for personal use, no signup, no watermark.
Common questions
Do black wallpapers actually save battery?
On OLED and AMOLED screens, yes. A true-black (#000000) pixel is switched off rather than dimmed, so it draws no power — and with an always-on display that runs all day the difference is measurable. On an LCD screen it saves nothing, because the backlight stays on either way. Not sure which you have? Our OLED test tool fills the screen with pure black: on an OLED it goes completely dark, on an LCD you can still see the backlight glowing grey.
How do I set one as my wallpaper?
Long-press on mobile or right-click on desktop to save the image, then set it from your gallery or system wallpaper settings.
