All-Black 1080P Wallpaper
All black at Full HD — texture studies, a skull on AMOLED void, night atmospheres. Wide cuts mostly, sized to drop onto a 1080p panel without any scaling. Free downloads.
Matching a wallpaper to your panel's native size is the difference between crisp and slightly soft, and everything here is picked with the classic 1080p screen in mind. The range is honest all-black: fabric and texture close-ups, a skull floating on void for the setups that want bite, night-sky atmospheres for the ones that do not. Landscape frames dominate, so this reads as a desktop and laptop gallery first — the tall strays cover phones as a bonus. Right-click, Save image as, set as background, done. Free for personal use with no watermark anywhere.
Common questions
Do black wallpapers actually save battery?
On OLED and AMOLED screens, yes. A true-black (#000000) pixel is switched off rather than dimmed, so it draws no power — and with an always-on display that runs all day the difference is measurable. On an LCD screen it saves nothing, because the backlight stays on either way. Not sure which you have? Our OLED test tool fills the screen with pure black: on an OLED it goes completely dark, on an LCD you can still see the backlight glowing grey.
