100% Pure Black Wallpaper
One hundred per cent, audited — pure black fills with a percentage in the name and no excuses in the file, plus one dotted variant at maybe 99. Free downloads.
Claiming 100% is bold in any field; in black wallpapers it is checkable — turn brightness to full and look for the lie. The core files here pass: pure fills with no vignette, no gradient, no watermark corner. One white-dotted variant stays as the honest exception that proves the audit. Tall and wide both stocked. Long-press on a phone or right-click on a desktop, save, then set it from your settings. Free for personal use throughout.
Common questions
Do black wallpapers actually save battery?
On OLED and AMOLED screens, yes. A true-black (#000000) pixel is switched off rather than dimmed, so it draws no power — and with an always-on display that runs all day the difference is measurable. On an LCD screen it saves nothing, because the backlight stays on either way. Not sure which you have? Our OLED test tool fills the screen with pure black: on an OLED it goes completely dark, on an LCD you can still see the backlight glowing grey.
